Zendaya Took 300 Children to See "Black Panther" in Her Hometown

Celebs everywhere made sure that kids got their chance to see the blockbuster superhero flick Black Panther during the first two weekends of its release. From Ellen DeGeneres to T.I. and Kendrick Lamar to Octavia Butler, theaters across the country have been bought out so children could experience the film.

Zendaya is the latest star to add to that list, as the multitalented actress teamed up with entrepreneur Michael Skolnik to take 300 kids from her hometown of Oakland, California, to go see Black Panther.

The Greatest Showman star hit Twitter to share photos of the evening, writing, "Wakanda forever...Oakland forever. Thank you to all the beautiful young people of my home town for joining me this weekend. You all, much like this movie, are absolutely brilliant BlackPanther."  The 21-year old also shared that she would be doing the same thing for the release of Ava DuVernay's upcoming animated fantasy A Wrinkle in Time.
